Description
Loop Telecom's Loop-U 3500 DTU series provide an economic solution to extend DTE interface over 2 copper wires up to 5.5 Km. The Loop-U 3500 DTU series use advanced digital transmission techniques with adaptive echo cancellation to provide high quality 128 Kbps digital data transportation. Each Loop-U 3500 DTU plug-in provides one DTE port per plug-in card each operating at synchronous from 56 to 128 Kbps. This allows users to interconnect LANs and WANs, CAD and CAM, video conference, mainframe hosts, and others.
Loop-U 3500 DTU series support local control and diagnostics using 2-line by 40-character LCD display and keypads on a shared central controller card. This allows users to execute in-service diagnostics and fault isolation. Each plug-in also provide 9 LEDs for both line side and DTE side status indicators. Using SNMP Network Management Systems and Telnet connection on the shared controller card, user can remotely control and diagnose Loop-U products from anywhere. Using Ethernet, SLIP, Telnet, or SNMP, controller cards from different racks can be managed from a central network manager.
