Description

Used with E1 and T1 networks, Loop-V 4200-28/ET is a versatile system for multiplexing and access for data and voice and for digital access cross-connect system. The main chasis, which is 6U high rack mountable box, has 28 ports which accept low-speed plug-in cards, three high-speed plug-in cards, two controller cards and one mux card. Loop-V 4200-28/ET is suitable for some countries which require all the plug-ins are on one side. The software code of Loop-V 4200-28/ET is the same as that of Loop-V 4200-28. All the software of Loop-V 4200-28 is not modified for the new shelf.

Data from any port, or any time slot of that port, can be channeled to any port or any time slot of that port. Digitized voice will be appropriately converted between A-law and µ-law. Channel associated signaling will be appropriately between E1 and T1 formats.
